What is guardianship?
There are many ways of understanding guardianship. For us, it has all to do with responsibility. Guardianship is a land governance practice that goes beyond the narrow Western division between private and pubic. Land is best protected when everyone: private and public-- indigenous and non-indigenous-- come together to take collective responsibility for the care and regeneration of the planet we all share.

Ancestors is a transformational course that explores the need to reconnect with collective pasts in order to ground the present and build a safer future for people and planet.
Participants will engage in acts that honour ancestors through collective memory, sacred territory and intergenerational transmission, paying close attention to the voices of those who came before us, the foremothers and forefathers that can guide the way to the future.
