February 4, 2023: The yews of Norbury Park and Mole River
Meet at Box Hill and Westhumble Station 10 am

It is said that the ancient druids used to perform secret rites in the old yew groves in the Mole Valley. We will visit some of the oldest yew trees in Britain, and then follow the valley of the River Mole, to Box Hill and the Stepping Stones, visiting old World War II bunkers and Broadwood's Tower.
